Corning OM-410 Power Meter
The Corning Cable Systems OM-400 Series Optical Power Meter provides accurate, user-friendly and economical power throughput and attenuation testing capabilities for incoming inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system verification. The OM-400 features an ergonomic design that is rugged enough to withstand the harshest testing environments.
The OM-400 is a multifunctional optical power meter with 10 calibrated wavelengths and associated reference values. Calibrated wavelengths range from 830 nm to 1625 nm, making the OM-400 ideal for testing both single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic installations. Preferred testing wavelengths can be stored in a list of favorite wavelengths.
The OM-400 Series Power Meter offers signal modulation detection settings for 270 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz, CW (unmodulated) and Auto signals. A modulation detection setting of Auto allows the OM-400 to automatically detect the wavelength being transmitted by a compatible Corning Cable Systems source. Additionally, the OM-400 can be configured to receive a reference power level from a compatible source over a long distance, allowing a remote reference to be set without the source and meter being at the same location.
